A little bit of history:

The 7th in Ace Combat series, the 1st for PSP & the 2nd for portable console. Released in US on 24 Oct 2006.

The HUD(Head-Up Display) of an aircraft.

 The setting is during the war between Aurelia & Leasath. You will be playing as an Aurelian ace fighter, known only by callsign 'Gryphus 1', bearing the symbol 'The Southern Cross'. You will be piloting various types of aircrafts - fighter, attacker, & multirole.

• fighter - specialized in dogfights(fighter vs fighter), fast-movers, can be use as an interceptor against bombers.
• attacker - is slow but have tough armor for ground assaults.
• multirole - suitable for both air & ground assaults, usually as support for both fighter & attacker aircrafts.

X-02 Wyvern

XFA-27 (Experimental Fighter Aircraft Type 27), first appearance in Ace Combat 2, is also available in ACX.

XR-45 Cariburn make its 1st appearance in ACX

It was fun playing this game, with the action & stunt you could pull off. Especially flying in the clear blue sky.
